Microgaming all-in to exhibit new mobile casino developments at SiGMA 2018.
A hoard of mobile casino software giants are jumping at the chance to reserve floor space for the upcoming Summit of iGaming Malta; a.k.a. SiGMA 2018. The ink is hardly dry on the schedule for the iGaming expo, and already 80% of the available space is under assignment.
Microgaming and other major product developers are making sure to secure their position at the annual Maltese expo. BetConstruct, Betsson, Evolution Gaming, GiG, LeoVegas, NetEnt and PokerStars are just a few of the biggest names joining Microgaming in the mad rush to grab a spot in the exposition. Countless start-ups are also snagging a booth in the spotlight to demo their new technology.
If you’ll remember, the ICE Totally Gaming summit just wrapped up a few weeks ago. These companies’ biggest execs are still getting back into their daily routines following that semi-holiday extravaganza in London. SiGMA won’t take place until later this year – way later – slated for November 28-30, 2018.
The fact that so many iGaming businesses are showing immediate interest in the event guarantees the solidity of SiGMA’s position as a superior meeting space for today’s global iGaming industry. According to the published floor plan, as of Monday, February 26, all of the central floor space has been reserved. Only about half of the smaller, outlying spaces remain open.
New Mobile Casino Developments Ensure Record-Breaking Attendance at SiGMA 2018
Last year’s conference attracted record breaking numbers; much more than organizers had anticipated. So for the 2018 rendition, they’re preparing ahead of time for another record-breaking show stopper. Organizers are securing additional space at the largest expo centre on the island, the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC).
Each year, SiGMA attracts a larger, more robust group of online gambling software companies, iGaming operators, marketing groups, and more. The list of attendees for the multitude of free daily conferences grows as well. This year, SiGMA is predicting a crowd of 12,000+ – an impressive number, and one that they should have no trouble reaching based on evidence of annual growth.
Microgaming Claims 4 Central Positions
Unsurprisingly, Microgaming laid claim to the largest amount of space on the SiGMA floor. They’ve secured positions in central booth G238, as well as the adjacent blocks at B201, ST156 and ST157. They held a similar presence at ICE 2018 earlier this month, where the Microgaming Bar was the focal meeting point for all delegates.
The Isle of Man-based online and mobile casino software giant is the world’s largest, leading purveyor of iGaming content, especially here in Canada. Microgaming services more than 600 operators all over the globe. The company is also recognized as the largest supplier of branded slot machine content with contracted titles like Jurassic Park, Terminator 2, Bridesmaids, Halloween, and many more.
Microgaming does more than casino games, though. The company provides software in all other major iGaming verticals, including poker, bingo, sports and live dealer platforms.
After a mind-blowing display in London this month that included exhibits for three upcoming releases – the newest Playboy Gold Slot, steampunk-themed Fortunium Slot, and the medieval motif of Cash of Kingdoms – Microgaming is all but guaranteed to steal the show at SiGMA come November.
