3 Days of spectacular Microgaming online slots reveals at ICE 2018.
The gambling industry’s most exclusive annual event took pace in London this week. For three days (Feb 6-8), the 2018 ICE Totally Gaming summit took over the ExCel London, attracting everyone who’s anyone in the gaming world. As usual, Microgaming stole the spotlight.
Being one of the top presenters of innovative and pioneering technology, Microgaming reserves a large amount of space at the annual ICE event. Not only does the world’s leading interactive gambling content provider utilize a substantial booth, they also host the annual Microgaming Bar.
The company utilizes this prime location (N5-120) to promote its most notable upcoming releases to the industry. It’s been enormously successful for the brand. Ask any attendee, and odds are high they at least popped in for a drink or bite to eat. One thing most of the event’s networkers agree on is that the Microgaming Bar is the number one meeting point at ICE Totally Gaming.
ICE 2018 Microgaming Online Slots Reveal
This year, the Microgaming Bar was transformed overnight – not once, not twice, but three times. Each day of the summit saw a whole new design scheme, each more impressive than the last.
Day 1 – Playboy Gold Online Slot
The first day of the convention saw the Microgaming Bar overtaken by Playboy Gold. This upcoming addition to the Quickfire platform is the first official build of Microgaming’s newest independent partner, Triple Edge Studios.
Set for release on March 7, 2018, the new online slots game was a huge hit at ICE. It features genuine Playboy Playmates – as did the bar’s décor on Tuesday. Bunnies were plastered on enormous LCD screens and encapsulated above the bar, enhanced by professional acrobats doing stunts within a heart-shaped structure.
As the evening wound down, and all the attendants made for their hotel rooms, Microgaming’s designers went to work. The bar was stripped down and rebuilt, to reveal…
Day 2 – Fortunium Online Slot
Guests piled back into the meeting space of the Excel on Wednesday to find the Microgaming Bar utterly transformed into a steampunk wonderland. The retro-futuristic design foretells the coming of Fortunium, a steampunk-themed game showcasing several brand new slot features.
While presenters dazzled onlookers with the new mobile tech to come, a pair of steampunk ‘nitro chefs‘ ran a steam-powered, gold and copper plated nitrogen ice cream buggy. On tap were salted caramel whiskey ice cream and a delightful gin and tonic sorbet. Guests raved about the tasty treats while promoters promised the Fortunium slot will launch later this year.
Day 3 – Cash of Kingdoms Online Slot
Once again, Microgaming’s expedient crew completely disassembled the bar and built it anew before daybreak. The final day began with the Microgaming Bar transformed into a medieval kingdom, complete with an archery range, full suits of armor and whiskey-barrels for tables. All this to promote another huge upcoming release, Cash of Kingdoms.
Again, Microgaming poured a vast amount of thought and work into the game, introducing several features new to the platform. To celebrate its upcoming launch – also slated for later this year – they hired an amazing acrobat, contortionist and foot-archer to wow the crowd throughout the day. The gravity-defying stunt artist was donning a custom outfit to mimic the game’s lead character, a feisty elven lass reminiscent of Link from Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda (but female).
All of these Microgaming online slots – and many more – will arrive this year at Royal Vegas Casino. Unfortunately, the Microgaming Bar is gone until ICE 2019.
